Good evening Klams!  And, Welcome to Summer!  

It was great seeing so many of you at the pool tonight for our opening event.  We hope to see more of you tomorrow and throughout the weekend.  Reminder - bring your friends!  It's a free weekend at the pool - and our attempt to spark interest in new memberships!  Help us advertise our great community pool!!!

As you are aware, we are a volunteer run organization, and we are always seeking for ways to cover costs of keeping our pool running, and keep our membership rates affordable.  Much of our funding comes from the hard work and dedication of members, like you!  

One of our biggest fundraisers of the year is happening June 1st - the Kingswood 5K!  We are in need of member volunteers to help us marshal the event.  It's a super easy, and fun job, and gets you a chance to get in the pool before it opens for the day!  Being a marshal simply involves standing at an intersection in the neighborhood and directing the race participants to the proper course route.  It's easy - you get to cheer on racers!

If you are available to volunteer a couple of hours of your time, have a ton of fun, and swim early in the pool, come on out!  Please let Gina Waddell, our 5K organizer, know if you are available.  Send her an email at [email protected] with your availability.
