The Kingswood Klams swim team is a summer league team in Williamsburg, Virginia, that competes in the Virginia Peninsula Swim Union (VPSU).  The team was founded by our current head coach, Harold Baker, in the summer of 1979.  

Please note, you must be a member of Kingswood Pool in order to join the swim team.  Fees are as follows:

Family Membership: $425

Swim Team Fees: $125 per swimmer for the summer of 2026

One time initiation fee: $200 (may be paid over two summers)

Our team values safety first and aims to allow all members' children an opportunity to learn how to swim and then compete if they are interested in doing so.  We have a lot of fun at practice, at the meets, and at our social events throughout the summer!  We hope you will consider joining our team!

Practice Schedule for 2026

Tuesday, May 26-Thursday, June 11

• 13 & over: 4:00-5:00
• 8 & under: 5:00-5:30 
• 9-12: 5:30-6:30
  • *please note the pool closes at 6:00 Mon.-Thurs. until school lets out

Starting Friday, June 12 practices are as follows: 

Monday through Friday

• 13 & over: 8-9am
• 9-12:  9-10am
• 8 & under: 10-10:45am

We will NOT hold practice Saturdays or Sundays for Kingswood Klams.
