Klam Buddies!
Morning! (You only need to read this if your child is participating in the Klam Buddies!)
Thanks so much for being a part of our Klam buddy program! This is such a great way to meet new families and help your child make a new friend. You will notice your child may have an older Klam buddy or someone the same age. The age groups did not work out so that every young child could have an older buddy.
We ask that you bring a small treat for your Klam buddy for the 3 Home meets only. The first home meet is Thursday, June 20. Five Below is a fantastic spot to pick up a small treat for your buddy. Lots of kids decorate paper bags with their buddy's name and then put a sports drink, candy and sometimes a glow stick/small toy in the bag. Its entirely up to you! These treats are really intended to be small and not cost a fortune!
If you are unable to attend a home meet, please talk with the other parents so their child is aware. Some do send the treat with another family.
The main idea of the Klam buddy program is to encourage sportsmanship and cheering for other swimmers! Please encourage them to cheer at all of the meets for their buddies!
The list of Klam buddies is attached to this email. The list is also posted in the clubhouse.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks!
Laura Broderick
