Great win last night Klams! Queen's Lake is always such a lovely team to swim! 

Thank you all for your help so far this year. We could really use additional help for our scorers- see below!

1. Scorers: Our 3 scorers- Sarah Knight, Carolyn Bennett and Sarah Parks are working EVERY MEET, the ENTIRE MEET! Without them, your child will not have any times/ribbons. They are at the meet until the bitter end and I would love to give them a break! We have 3 meets left, so plenty of time to train to score. It is not daunting- the computer does most of the work for you. If you like to sit in the air conditioning, this is the job for you! Please send Laura an email at [email protected] if you are willing to help score and give our scorers a well deserved break. 
2. Next meet: Our next meet is at home on July 8 against First Colony! This is a large team as well. Please check your volunteer commitment and let me know ASAP if you are unable to attend.
3. Ribbons: Queen's Lake does their ribbons differently than we do. They score by event, not by heat. Your child will be scored against everyone who swam the event and placed 1-8. After place 8, they receive a participation ribbon. The ribbons are in the clubhouse. 
4. July 4: Save your afternoon for our July 4th games! The kids have a fantastic time! The celebration games will start around 1:00. We will practice in the morning.
