Hello Klams! 

We are thrilled to open the pool on Tuesday, June 9. We have made significant changes to comply with the Phase 2 Guidelines, please read the following email carefully. We hope to provide our "new normal" services once Phase 3 is implemented by the Governor. We would love for your family to join us now or when Phase 3 begins. Our rates are prorated for a Phase 2 start date and then will be prorated for a Phase 3 start date. 

1. Hours of Operation: The pool will be open Sunday-Thursday from 3-8 pm and Friday and Saturday 3-9 pm. (This is open to change, depending on member interest and response.) 

2.Exercise Only: The swimming pool is only open for exercise and lap swimming. Walking, therapeutic exercise, or swimming are all great! There is no recreational play allowed under Phase 2 Guidelines. Each lane may have 2 swimmers, starting at alternating ends of the pool, with 3 additional lanes in the diving well. You will sign-up at the front desk upon arrival to the pool for a lane slot of 30 minutes. If space is available, you may sign-up for additional time. 

3. Diving Well: The diving area is open for diving. Only 3 individuals are permitted in the diving area at a time. Please sign-up at the front desk upon arrival for a diving slot. Divers will need to space 10 feet apart. 

4. Enhanced Cleaning: We will be cleaning all surfaces constantly throughout the day. We will also provide hand sanitizer and cleaning products for you to clean your chairs or tables at the front desk. If you are sick, stay home. 

5. Concessions: We will not be offering the Concession stand services under Phase 2. We hope to offer the service later in the summer. You are encouraged to bring your own food to the pool. 

6. Swim Lessons/Team: We are unable to offer a swim team under Phase 2. We hope to offer small scale lessons in the baby pool and in the lap lanes, depending on interest and membership numbers in a week or two. (We need to get settled first!) 

7. Social Distancing: You are welcome to hang-out on the pool deck- read a book, sunbathe, enjoy yourself! The social distancing rules state that members must remain 10 feet apart, unless they are in the same household. Everyone (children and adults) must comply with the social distancing regulations. The chairs are spaced 10 feet apart. Please do not move the chairs. 

8. Guests: Unfortunately, we are unable to allow any guests to Kingswood Pool unless they are a child care provider (nanny, babysitter, grandparents). The child care provider must be listed on your membership- please indicate this on your membership application and the membership chair will contact you specifically. The child care provider will not be allowed to visit the pool when the parents/guardians are present. We hope to allow guests during Phase 3 operation and thank you for your understanding. 

Please see the attached membership application for Phase 2 rates. Please bring the application and payment to the pool on Monday anytime until 3:00 or when you come to swim! Alternatively, you may email your application. 

We know you will continue to have an amazing time visiting Kingswood Pool! We thank you so much for your support and following the new regulations. 

Please understand that we must comply with the Phase 2 guidelines or risk a significant fine to the pool. Please speak with your children so they understand the guidelines as well. If you do not comply with the guidelines you will be asked to leave and may have your membership suspended. 

As you can imagine, this is very difficult financially for our pool so we appreciate you for helping us through this unprecedented time. Hope to see you at the pool!
