Hey Klams!

Monday night we swim for the Championship against Kingsmill. We have a few "extras" for our Monday schedule. We will have our annual pizza party, (with a few changes) as well as take our team picture by groups Monday night. The "team" picture will be done in 3 groups, schedule is listed below. We will also honor our Seniors on Monday night! 

Please make your child aware of the schedule. Swimmers will wear a bathing suit (no shirts please) for the picture. We will keep the groups small for the pictures and pool party to follow social distancing rules. 

1. Group Pictures and Warm-ups:

• 8 and under: Be there to get ready for group picture at 4:30 and warm-ups at 4:45
• 9-12: Be ready to get ready for group picture at 4:50 and warm-ups at 5:00 
• 13 and up: Be ready to get ready for group picture at 5:00 and warm-ups at 5:20

2. Pizza/Pool Party: We will have pizza for the swimmers after the meet (1 piece of cheese pizza per swimmer). Practice groups will play in the pool in 2 sections- we are unable to allow the entire team to play in the pool at one time due to social distancing regulations. Please make your child aware. 

• Practice groups 4, 5 and 6 play in the pool right after the meet finishes for 30 minutes (can eat before if not in a relay or after/during pool time) 
• Groups 1, 2 and 3 eat at the end of the meet and then play when groups 4, 5 and 6 are finished. 

3. Thank you for keeping your children away from the playground last week- this worked much better for all of our families. Please do the same Monday.

4. We will have Chick-Fil-A again on Monday at the concession stand! 

5. Please let Coach Harold know ASAP if your child is not swimming on Monday night. 

6. We need a couple more volunteers for Monday's meet (announcer and head timer positions available). Please consider checking the schedule to volunteer. 

7. The final swim practice is Friday, August 31, or Thursday, August 30 if your child does not practice on Friday. 

8. The final, virtual meet is Saturday, August 1. More information to come!
