Hello Klams! 

Here is important swim meet information. Please understand, the meet information and job sign-up may change at the last minute, depending on the away or visiting team. 

1.For all swim meets: 

• Home Meets: Arrive around 4:30 for warm-ups. Away Meets: Arrive by 5:00 for warm-ups.
• Swimmers and parents will sit in the large field during the home meets. For away meets, this will depend on the team.
• Swimmers will go into the gate to the clerk of course when called for their races during home meets. 
• Parents will go into the parent entrance to watch their swimmer's race and should leave after the race is finished. 
• At Kingswood, vaccinated persons are not required to wear masks. For away meets, this will depend on the team. 
• What do I bring? Bug spray, towels, tents, chairs, hydration, suit, goggles, cap, Klam Buddy gift for home meets (if participating). 
• All meets begin at 6:00. 
• Concessions! We will have concessions at the meets- we will be selling Chick-Fil-A sandwiches and lots of other snacks during our home meets. For away meets, this will depend on the team.
• Please always let Coach Harold know if your child will not be at the swim meet.

2. Time Trials: Thursday, June 17 at 6:00 

• Time Trials is our "practice" swim meet. This allows the coaches to see which strokes your child is legal, which strokes are his/her fastest, and gives all swimmers a chance to practice a swim meet before our first "official" meet against First Colony. 
• Klam Buddies will be handed out at Time Trials. Sign-up here by Monday if you haven't yet and would like to participate (not required): Klam Buddy Sign-up

3. Meet Schedule: *All meets begin at 6:00

1. June 21: First Colony at KW
2. June 28: KW at Ford's Colony
3. July 5: Greensprings at KW
4. July 12: KW at Queen's Lake
5. July 19: KW at Kingsmill (pancake breakfast and team picture in the am!)
6. July 24: Summer Awards at Queen's Lake (may not swim champs times)
7. July 31: Championships at WISC (your child must earn a qualifying time) 

4. Job Sign-up: Please sign-up on your SwimTopia App or online for the jobs. We rely on our parents to volunteer during the meets and all families must volunteer. Please understand, the jobs may change depending on the home team. Thank you for your support!

5. SwimTopia App: You can find this in the app store and lets you know which races your swimmers are in and allows you to sign-up for the jobs. Please know the heat and lane assignments may not be correct on the app. Your child will receive this in the clerk of course. 

6. Team Shirts: Your child will receive a team shirt and a team cap. Harold will have the team caps at the Time Trials, be sure you have your child get one from Coach Harold. The Team Shirts will be handed out soon!

7. Pizza Party: We will have a pizza party, the date is tbd.
