Hey Klams! Here is more information for Champs on Saturday.
1. Warm-up Times:
- Morning Session: 7:00-7:20 Lanes 6-9
- Afternoon Session: 11:00-11:20 Lanes 6-9
2. Volunteers: We have to provide timers and are running the awards sessions for the morning and afternoon. Please sign-up to help. (This will be a great way to watch your child swim!)
3. The SwimTopia App is not accurate, please use the VPSU website- Champs Meet Program for the meet sheets. They are NOT printing them out at the meet. Please print out your own meet sheet to bring.
4. Families may park in the Wisc parking lot but should not walk through the Wisc facility to reach the pool building at the back. Please walk around the outside of the building to reach the pool.
5. Parents/spectators may enter the pool building to watch their swimmers’ events through the Lobby.. Once their swimmer's event has concluded, they should exit through the back right door of the pool.
6.The events will also be streaming on a YouTube channel. The QR code for the YouTube channel is on the attached map. Share with your family and friends!
7. Teams may set up tents in front of the Pool on Friday between 3-6. We have designated spots to set-up on the attached map.
8. They are running a required clerk of course in the afternoon and a voluntary one in the morning session. Swimmers should report to the clerk of course when their event is called.
GO KLAMS!!

Hello!

1. 11 and older swimmers will swim in the morning session and the meet will start at 8:30 am. Warm-up times will be released soon.
2. 10 and younger swimmers will swim in the afternoon session and the meet will start at 12:30. Warm-up times will be released soon.
3. If your child is swimming in a relay, they will be swum at the start of the afternoon session.
4. The meet sheet that lists all of your child's events, heats, and lanes can be found here: VPSU Website
5. SwimTopia is not as accurate as the meet sheets.
6. Volunteer assignments will be released shortly. If your child is swimming at Champs, please be prepared to help. We do not choose the volunteer assignments- they are chosen for us by the League.
7. They will have a food truck. Be sure you bring a tent, chairs, and lots of cold drinks! We will be sitting in the parking lot of the WISC. Parents will be allowed to go inside only to watch their child swim. There is no indoor seating. Masks must be worn by unvaccinated patrons.
8. If your child earns place 1-8, they will receive a medal. The medal "ceremony" will be at the end of the morning and at the end of the afternoon session respectively. Be sure you stay if your child earns a medal! If your child earns place 9-16, they will receive a ribbon and the coaches will pick them up at the end of the meet. Check your ribbon boxes next week! They will also give out a "High Point Award" to the swimmer in each age group who earns the highest number of points.
More updates to come!
GO KLAMS!!
