CONGRATULATIONS KLAMS! SUMMER AWARDS CHAMPS!! WOOT WOOT!!

Great meet everyone and despite the heat, I think the swimmers had a great time! A HUGE Thank you Thank you to everyone!!! Everyone worked so hard yesterday and we all thank you!!! The team was able to have a successful fundraiser! 

A few notes for this week!

1. Practice Schedule: if your child is swimming in the Championship meet at the WISC on Saturday, they will have normal practice this week, except Friday- no practice, they should sleep in, rest, and stay out of the heat! If your child is not swimming in Champs, they are finished practicing for the summer. 
2. Pizza Party: Pizza Party tomorrow (7/25) at 5:00 at KW. This is a treat for your swimmer but not expected to be dinner. 
3. Champs on Saturday: Champs are Saturday at the WISC. We will be set-up in tents in the parking lot. Families are not permitted to "camp out" on the deck at the WISC facility. This meet is different from summer awards: 
   1. 11 and older swim in the morning (meet starts at 8:30)
   2. 10 and younger swim in the afternoon (meet starts at 12:30)
   3. We do not have our warm-up times yet. This will be given this week.
   4. Medals are awarded 1-8 and ribbons 9-16 places. There is a medal ceremony for the 1-8 place swimmers. This takes place directly after the session they swim. Ribbons will go in the ribbon boxes. They also award the high point swimmers in each age group and the winning overall teams.  
   5. We will have volunteer jobs at Champs. This will be given this week too. We will try to split up the job into tiny increments so no family is working the entire session. 
4. Remember to check your family's ribbon box! Some are overflowing!
