Hello! Here is the important information for Summer Awards!! 

1. Warm-ups: 

• 8:00-8:15 for 10 and younger swimmers, lanes 2 and 3
• 12:30-12:45 for 11 and older swimmers, lanes 2 and 3

2. Timers: THANK YOU!!! I only have 2 slots left in the afternoon session! 

3. Gates: They said the gates will be open for you to enter. 

4. Team Area: I have attached a map of the team area for you!

5. Heat Sheets: The heat sheets for the morning and afternoon sessions are also attached. Its helpful to print these out and bring to the meet if you are able.

Saturday is Summer Awards at Fords Colony Pool. This is the same pool we went to for our first swim meet. Here are a few points about the meet:

• 10 and Under Session Meet Starts at 8:45 (warm-ups TBD)
• 11 and Older Session Meet Starts at 1:15 (warm-ups TBD)
• All spectators will sit outside the gates (close to the field and tennis courts).
• Spectators can go inside the gate to the specific area to watch their child swim and then will go back outside the gate. The zero entry pool is roped off.
• Food Trucks are available for concessions.
• Be sure you bring:
  • All your swimming supplies!
  • Tent and Chairs (we have a specific area for tents) You may set-up Friday night from 6-8 in our set spot or on Saturday.
  • Bug Spray!!!
  • Drinks- it will be very warm- bring lots of water and electrolyte drinks for your swimmers. I would also bring lots of healthy snacks for during the meet.
  • Cordless Fan- if you have one!
  • Sunscreen
  • Games- something to do while they wait between events.
• We have to provide 5 timers per session. I have broken this up into 2 shifts so we need a total of 20 people to volunteer. I only have 3. If your child is swimming, please sign-up to time- you will have the best seat in the house and be splashed! I would bring a wide brimmed hat! (Sign-up under the Schedule and Summer Awards. If you want to time and need help signing up let me know:)
• If you are an official and would like to officiate at the meet please let me know.
• This is a long day but a lot of fun for the swimmers- they award very large ribbons through 12th place and heat winners for the events. (They do not award beyond 12th place in each event. They do not award participation ribbons.)
