Hello! 

We hope you are enjoying the weather and pool. If you have not stopped by yet, your name and membership number are at the front desk in the sign-in book. A lifeguard can help you find this information. Please sign-in every time you visit the pool. 

**A number of households have not paid their membership dues. Please note, you should NOT use the pool or participate in swim team until your membership dues are paid. These are both the VPSU rules and our insurance rules.** 

In addition, if your child is "trying out" swim team please sign them up after 3 practices or switch them to lessons. 

Here are a few important details for you! 

1. Guest Fee- Your family membership is listed in the book. Individuals not listed on your family membership are considered guests. Please pay the $5 guest fee for all guests. You may bring the same guest 1 time per week- otherwise they should purchase their own membership. 

2. Swim Lessons- Please remember that swim team is for children who already know how to swim. We have a swim lesson program for your child to learn to swim. This is an excellent way to help your child gain confidence and learn basic water skills and strokes. Our next session runs for two weeks and starts on Monday, June 15. Please sign up at the front desk in the lessons book. 

3. Road Race- We will have our annual 5 K run/walk THIS Saturday am at 8:00. Please bring your family and friends to participate. You may sign-up for the race morning and this is a great fundraiser for our pool. All race participants may also spend the day enjoying the pool! 

4. Pool Hours- Our pool hours switch to the "normal" summer hours on Friday, June 12. (Swim team will switch to the morning on Friday, June 12.) 

5. Home Swim Meets: Please note, the pool will close at 4:00 pm for home swim meets on Monday, June 22, Monday June 29, and Monday July 6. In addition, the swim team is hosting a championship meet on Saturday, June 25 from 7am-4 ish pm. We realize this is inconvenient to our members but it is a tremendous fundraiser for our pool and will help lower our overall costs for the summer. All swim team parents will be expected to help in some capacity for Summer Awards.
