Hello!

Monday is our first swim meet of the season! Kingswood is part of the Virginia Peninsula Swim Union and is in Division 1 of 3. The first meet of the season is always a friendship meet with a team in a different division. This year, we will swim against Windsor Forest, a Division 2 team (basically means a smaller team, size wise) and do not keep score of the meet.

**Can't come on Monday? Please email Coach Harold at [email protected] by FRIDAY.

**Please be aware this is a 4 lane pool. If you are unable to attend, please let Coach Harold know as this will directly impact the length of the meet.

1. When: Monday, June 15- meet starts at 6:00
2. Where: Windsor Forest Pool: 108 Wyndham Way, W-burg, 23188
3. Warm-ups: 5:30-6:00
4. Arrive: 5:00 (find a seat, get settled and ready to swim by 5:30)
5. Seating: On the side we enter the pool from (bring chairs, tents, bug spray)
6. Parking: On the grassy hill but also up the street (parking attendants will help)
7. Clerk of Course: Swimmers will report here before their events. Please help wrangle your child to the clerk of course before the events so they do not miss their swim.
8. Concessions: Venmo and cash- hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, walking tacos, snacks, treats, drinks, Polar Snow Shaved Ice too!
9. Klam Buddies: We do not bring treats for our buddies but please cheer! (Klam Buddies will be emailed Wednesday). **If you did not sign up be sure to sign up today! Klam Buddies
10. Ribbons: They are doing more traditional ribbons for this meet- by heat and place 1-4. Check the ribbon box on Tuesday for your child's ribbons. (If your child is disqualified they do not receive a ribbon.)
11. Volunteers: Thank you for volunteering! I will have a sticker with your assignment, please try to find me at the meet for your sticker. I will be by the entrance.
12. Can't come? Please let Coach Harold know by Friday!
