We hope you are having a lovely week! Here is the warm-up schedule for VPSU Champs at 757- (Remember 11 and older in the am, 10 and younger in the pm.)

• Session 1: 11 and older swimmers from 7:00-7:20, lanes 6-9
• Session 2: 10 and younger swimmers from 11:00-11:20, lanes 5-9

Volunteers: We still need the following slots (I will not be at Champs this year, so please find your position/they will not be able to start the meet on time. Let me know if you do not know what your job entails.) 

• Session 1: Clerk of Course 
• Session 2: Clerk of Course, Meet Marshall, Head Timer

Hello!

Here is information for the VPSU Champs meet. Please note, this is a 10 lane pool and the meet will run very fast! Be sure your child is at the clerk of course on time (in front of the building) so they do not miss their events.

1. When: Saturday, August 1- 11 and older in the morning, 8:30 start time. 10 and younger start at 1:00. Relays are swum at 12:30.

2. Where: 757Swim Aquatic Center- this is the facility behind the Williamsburg Indoor Sports Complex (WISC)

3. Parking: Parking is in front of the WISC. Very limited handicap parking on the side.

4. Swimmer Seating: Each team has a designated area outside the facility in the parking lot/grassy area. Please bring tents and chairs.

5. Spectator Watching: Viewing areas are on the pool deck and in the bleachers.

6. Bathrooms: The bathrooms are located in the 757 Aquatic Center- they have locker rooms for the athletes (no showers available) and separate bathrooms for the spectators in the facility lobby.

7. Concessions: Sip and Smile and Everbowl at 9:00 and Burgers on the Edge at 11:00.

8. Warm-ups: We do not have a specific time- I will send it out when I have it. 11 and older swimmers, plan to arrive for warm-ups around 7:00. If your child is 10 and younger, plan to arrive for warm-ups around 11:00.

9. Awards: They will have a medal ceremony at the end of each session for awarding places 1-8. Places 9-16 will receive ribbons that will be at Kingswood in your ribbon box.

**Thank you to the families who have volunteered to help! We do need a few more volunteers for clerk of course and a head timer.
